Methodology

Load is a transparent session score. Surface and climate are multipliers with small, published-order-of-magnitude bumps so users can see the lever move. Footwear is logged, not scored, because the evidence does not support a clean numeric penalty across sports.

raw = min×0.35 + efforts×1.8 + contacts×2.4
index = clamp(raw × surface × condition / 2.2, 0, 100)
surface: grass 1.00 · turf 1.08 · hardwood 1.06 · clay 1.04 · ice 1.10 · trail 1.05
condition: dry 1.00 · wet 1.12 · hot 1.10 · cold 1.06 · indoor 1.00

Limits This cannot prove a field, court, or stadium causes injuries. Surfaces are not randomly assigned. Minutes are not equal across sports. N is one session. Use it to keep a ledger, not to publish a most-dangerous-venue list. Pair with Travel Fatigue and Sleep Tax when the week is the load.
