Clarity is the mission. Clarity is not clarity if the reader cannot use the page.

2ND CITY STANDARD is built to be usable by every reader — on every device, with or without assistive technology. This is a standard, not a checkbox. We will not always get it right, but we treat every accessibility gap as a bug worth fixing.
If a reader cannot use the page, we have not created clarity.
What we build for
- Keyboard navigation on every interactive element.
- Screen reader compatibility with semantic HTML and ARIA where it earns its place.
- Alt text on every meaningful image; empty alt on decoration.
- Sufficient color contrast in dark and light modes.
- Readable typography with generous line-height and spacing.
- Responsive layouts that work on any screen and any orientation.
- Captioned video and transcribed podcast episodes as they publish.
Continuous improvement
We audit the site regularly against WCAG 2.1 AA and fix issues as they surface. New components are reviewed before they ship. Reader-reported issues are prioritized.
